Went there for my granddaughter's birthday. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Basic Italian. Nothing for gluten free options. Efficient service. Nice to sit by the open double doors. Over priced for the standard. Convenient in the centre of town. No parking nearby.
Beautifull pizza's with a lovely thin crust. Lasagne is the best and the risotto with chicken is delicious! Recommend pizza parma!

The best Thai in the local area. Fantastic fresh and authentic food. I've visited on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed. Be aware the menu changes daily, and the business closes for a couple of weeks each year.
Wonderful meal in a beautiful courtyard. Friendly and attentive staff. A true family run enterprise. Highly recommended.

Always great service and food, we go on the Thursday where it's a five course meal for £12.95. Make sure you don't eat much in the day as we always end up taking food home. Highly recommended.
Always good food, always good service.

Really good, fresh tasting food. Second time we have ordered from Village Spice and cant fault the quality. Delivery time 45 mins each time and I'll forgive my forgotten free bottle of wine tonight.
Best Indian in Frome. Try it.

First off I’d like to say that this was an adequate hotel. The downfalls are a combination of poor building design and a lack of air conditioning, especially during this heatwave that we’ve had. The hotel is clean, staff, that are not listening to music on their phones with headphones in, are very polite and attentive. The reason why I cannot give this hotel more than 3 stars is simply because of a lack of decent sleep on both nights, it was colder outside of our room, the corridors have a lack of air, you cannot open the window further than the security latch allows you, which is a fair point but still a stupid one and you best ask for a low room number unless you want to walk forever with your stuff through lengths and lengths of corridors. Go to this hotel during the winter and you’ll be more than happy.
Great rooms (some new!!), comfortable and clean. Great beds!! Free parking on site (for guest only). Very friendly, happy and helpful staff on site. Thank you for a memorable stay!!

This place is fantastic. Staff are very friendly and food is amazing . One of the best places I have eaten in Frome. Will be back for sure .
What a delightful experience! From a charming, warm welcome and stylish service throughout to excellent, skillfully cooked, absolutely delicious authentic Italian food, La Bisalta exceeded all our expectations and makes most alternatives in the area look mediocre by comparison.

Pizza is very nice and they have many delicious desserts. The staff are very friendly and approachable. However this is a family diner, so expect many little children and families. Often there are loud children. And surprisingly it is not as clean as I expected. Wall I was sat next too had visible sploges and tables were sticky. Overall it was okay but could been better.
Service was great on the day. Pizzas were lovely too. Enjoyed the time spent there and all food was fresh. Would definitely recommend

Good menu - good options for kids and gluten free. Good place for breakfast. Prices are a little high for the quality of the produce. Additionally the service can be unimpressive.
A wonderfully relaxed atmosphere and the staff were very helpful. The food was gorgeous would definately go here again

Quite a good space, indoor bar, good seating outside plus the corridor and a couple of other rooms to sit. Haven't eaten there yet but heard good reviews. Drinks a tad too expensive though.
Well situated and slightly quirky building that is likely to be lively on evening and weekends. The menu looks okay but we didn't stay to eat because there is better food elsewhere. Beer was well served and conditioned so no complaints there. They also do accommodation which I believe is 'mid range' and quite comfortable. My hesitation comes from the fact that the Archangel hasn't really got an identity. It has elements of chain gastro pub about it but also a more independent feel.

This place is great if you're a vegetarian! The range of 'vegetarian meat' and vegetable dishes is wide, with good rice and noodle options. Very tasty, and order time if you call up to collect has been short.
Nice food, quickly prepared for take away, great mini spring rolls!

Great food... Great friendly service... Well worth a visit. We will definitely return.
So much better now as Beefeater than it was a couple of years ago. Service attentive, food very tasty and all round worth a visit. Only gripe is that steak prices are a little steep but I can vouch you get your money’s worth with the mixed grill

Food not too good. Tough chicken . The salad was missing half the promised ingredients. Pasta done better myself. Shame as nice place and service good.
Average food and staff not that bothered. Outside area is great and a good selection of draught. Doggo freidnly too which is nice.

If you want a traditional, old fashioned, friendly, homely pub this is the place to go. Without doubt a national treasure. If you like pubs as they were in past times you have to visit. A jewel. There aren't many of this kind of pub left. I love it.
Lovely place. Great staff xxx
16-17 King St, Frome BA11 1BH, UK – 01373 452009
Fantastic pub in the old quarter of Frome. Very friendly locals and stunning interior design, a cross between Salvidor Dali and Spike Milligan. If you're in the area you must drop in - oh yes, the beer was excellent too.
Lovely authentic pub. Great, friendly staff. Just get in some Fevertree tonic and we're all good 😉
