Actually very comfy and really good customer service. An affordable place to stay in Frome. I will always use this hotel when in Frome as it is clean and accessible.

Lovely premier Inn, a great beef eater too. Only trouble I had was room gets very warm at night even with the window open although two fans provided. Staff very friendly and polite.

Great and friendly cottage stay perfect for couples or small families. Loved the welcome pack - really nice and thoughtful touch. New mattresses would be a good investment.. thanks for a lovely stay

Thank you for an incredible weekend. As a guest of my cousins invitation (Joanne/Ian) we were treated to a lovely 4 day holiday. I was amazed with the service, quality and help that we received as well as the attention to detail & quality of the whole place! Thank you Sally, it was a pleasure to meet you and your husband and Son. I wish you all the very best and would encourage anyone to book their cottage quickly as I am sure that you will need to as the whole experience was fantastic, enjoyable, relaxing & perfect!!! Thank you, Paul & Donna, x (Ian & Joanne). x

Nice food. Good beer. Nice pub.

Fantastic food and service. Highly recommend it.

Masons Arms

Marston Rd, Frome BA11 4DJ, UK – 01373 461400

Really nice mothers day treat with a free glass of prosecco for my mum. Food was good, especially enjoyed the sticky toffee pudding 'heavenly'. Plenty of parking outside and an exceptional wine (see picture). The only downside was the waiting staff weren't really responsive in between courses, which was a bit frustrating. Other than that, really good.

Had lunch which was very good. Service good. My only criticism would be the sandwiches should use fresh bread not packet sliced. Other than that LUSH.

The Sun Inn

6 Catherine St, Frome BA11 1DA, UK – 01373 471913

Great old pub just like it was 20 years ago last time I was there

First time in here. Looks a nice place. Wine Good!

Travel Super Market search and compare prices for hotels all over the world. Could also be useful for you. I This said I was told by a hotelier that the way to get cheap rooms is to ring up the week before and ask for the weekend rate. You can usually get an absolute bargain as they will trying to book all the rooms that they have not sold! Could be worth a try!

Allie and Seth have practically designed and built this astonishing place themselves - it's simply stunning! The attention to detail is obvious in every part of the house, the lodge and gardens. The WOW factor in spades. Magnificent and quirky, beautiful and cosy - and all at the same time. Allie and Seth are great hosts too, they make you feel so welcome; leaving lovely treats to greet you and being warm and helpful when needed but giving you your privacy to fully enjoy their home. Will be back again..... and again!

A phenomenal property to bring 3 average size families. Wonderful location and plenty space.

If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

Executive Holidays - Oldford Farm Cottages

Oldford Farm,, Lullington Lane, Oldford, Frome BA11 2NF, UK – 01373 452907

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. We hired out a few of the cottages for a friends getaway. Patrick met me at the venue and showed me all the cottages we had and the amenities. This was great so we could get our bearings straight away. The cottages are all very spacious and clean. They are beautifully decorated and very homely. All the cottages have all the cutlery, crockery etc that you need. They even supplied bin bags, tea towels, dish washer tablets etc. There was a hair dryer and an iron in the cupboard. There is an enclosed area for kids to play in and lots of grounds to walk around on. I could not fault this place at all...it was amazing!!

Recently stayed in the cottages for a Hen Party. The manager was so friendly and helpful and is on site nearly everyday if needed. They aren't as modern as i would normally go for with the rooms looking a little out dates but don't let this put you off. They are well equipped with loads of choices of shops to stock up on within 5 minute drive. We were a Hen party of 16 split between 4 cottages with the others being filled with families. Such a beautifully quiet area we would definitely return and bring out children as long leat is not far.

We held our daughters wedding reception here last week. It was fab. Lovely quaint barn at the back of the pub with exposed beams and stone absolutely lovely. Good food and service was first class. Portions were huge all our guests said the food was delicious which it was. The hosts were very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely venue, lovely food and lovely staff.

The only thing that let the bell down was it was too hot in there. However food and service was great
