This is an amazing antique extravaganza. The owner is professional and knowledgeable about all antiques. He knows everything there is to know about the trade. I was looking for a piece of George 1V furniture and he found it for me. He also appraised and evaluated with honesty and integrity my aunts furniture that she wanted to sell. He was patient and kind and gave her a better and fairer price than anyone else she had contacted. Thank you so much for your professional service. I highly recommend this business to anybody who is thinking of selling or buying good quality antique furniture etc....

Have recently relocated to the area and visited Eden Rose a couple of times so far. Very friendly, cosy, relaxing and welcoming salon with a wide variety of competitively priced treatments. Just be careful of the steep spiral staircase to the first floor! But regardless, I will definitely visit again for more lovely treatments.

I have had a pedicure this morning. The staff are really pleasant & welcoming & the salon has a relaxing atmosphere. I would recommend it.

I think, in a word, it would be best described as 'outdated'. It's expensive, dark and the staff are usually too busy to help, so direct you to the self service tills. Which do not properly, so the staff spend half their life walking backwards and forwards trying to fix it. Having said that, the rage of books and magazines are really good. :)

Tiny store in this cosy little town/village, but they had everything I needed to start my trip, including the Rough guide to Bath, Bristol and Somerset new edition, that I have been trying to get hold of, and was served by a friendly lady, I couldn't ask for more.

I got a lovely handy Radley card holder with owls and a dog on it for £6 it was much dearer when new

A treasure trove on Frome's main street. Really helpful staff and lots of unusual things that we did not expect to see in a charity shop. Popped in to get a fleece as the weather had turned unseasonably cold for our visit. They also stocked organic raw chocolate and toiletries.

I purchased a Mini from Shelsey a few weeks ago and am very pleased with my car. Richard was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish, letting me come up from Bournemouth on a Sunday and then delivering my car to my house a few days later. All paperwork etc done and really helpful with all questions. Couldn't recommend enough.

Came here due to all the excellent reviews and not being able to find a single relative negative review online, turned up and was left to look at and test drive car with zero pushy sales (fantastic in my mind), had a pleasant chat with Brad (not about the car!) and then thought i should sort buying a car and raised a couple of points on the vehicle i was looking at, all of which were fixed without any hesitation, a quick look at my part ex car agreed a very reasonable price for both. Prior to pick up a full service and MOT was complete, the car buffed and other items replaced such as battery that they (not me) picked up during service (car started first time so battery wasnt low in my mind but they still replaced as they were not happy with). Honestly these guys couldn't of gone further out of there way to help, without a doubt the best car dealership i have ever had the pleasure of dealing with and for sure will be buying any future cars there despite it being an hours drive from me

Great little garage, conducted the MOt for my bike in timely fashion, and very thoroughly. Happy to discuss findings and state of the motorcycle. Good advice given. Will definitely go again when needed.

Big thanks to Geoff for helping me sort out the correct chain for my bike. I had ordered a chain/sprocket set for my bike but they sent to short a chain, thankfully he was able to arrange for a longer chain to arrive within two days, life saver! If it weren't for the initial mishap it'd be 5 stars all round!

Delt with this company quite a few times. Usually very knowledgeable and competent. Ordered a steering damper through their eBay shop, kept me informed even though the unit was a custom part from Italy. Whilst I waited for my parts to be dispatched one of their staff listed it for a lower price. I complained via email & was contacted almost immediately offering me complimentary Brembo brake pads which more than made up for the reduction. Very helpful, ten out of ten for customer care.

Large Charity Shop in Frome selling virtually everything including furniture,brick a brac, soft furnishings, fitness equipment and electrical items, well worth a visit.

Always helpful. A great place to buy from and to donate to.

A local pharmacy selling medicines. You can take your doctor note from the hospital and get your prescriptions from here and they sell all the usual stuff any pharmacy sells.

Frome's largest in town clothes store. Has Mens, Womens, children and baby clothes.

Another good reason to visit Frome. Reasonably sized store - bigger than Park Street Bristol store but smaller than Bath, Cribbs, quakers friars and Salisbury. However, disabled and pushchair access by ringing bell round side of store, women's on ground floor and men's on top floor, currently with up to 50% off sale. Space between racks on ground floor just about doable with pushchair. Changing rooms x 3 on ground floor with enough room for disabled and buggies. Staff helpful. Love Fatface!

So happy we have a FatFace in Frome. Ignore the reviews saying it's small, it's great for the space they're in and the latest clothes are always in stock.

Probably the best menswear shop in Frome, if not Somerset. The quality of the products are exceptional, and the customer service is second to none.

Really friend and helpful! Sell some gorgeous but so comfortable footwear. I bought a pair of sandals but didn't dare look at the dresses and skirts or I know I would have spent a fortune. I'll be back.

Love this shop. Have been visiting Frome for sometime now and this is one of my favourite shops. Nearly always find something and am always really pleased with my purchases. Lovely, friendly lady who works there who I just found out is the mother of Truly Sopel another of my favourite shops where Truly is the maker of beautiful underwear.

A good shop with lots of kits, paints etc. It appeared to me that it was very hard to find anything as odd stuff was just on random shelves. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There is parking space next to the shop or a pay and display at the end of the road. I will visit again when I am down that way.

Fantastic selection of hobby products and kits. Prices are generally RRP for wargaming items which makes them more expensive than many other UK retailers for most ranges but from my experience their range of hobby tools, paints, glues, primers etc is second to none. It's definitely well worth visiting

Excellent service. I brought my son's BMX wheel in for new bearings and even though they didn't stock the parts they directed me to a local stockist and then attempted to fix the problem. Even though the hub was too damaged they had a good go and did not charge anything. Very friendly and welcoming shop. Would definitely use again if in town.

They let you use their pump for free and also was very kind with trying to fix the crank on my bmx even though it wasn't fixable, thanks guys

I have shopped here for years and always found them to be very helpful. This was particularly true recently when they provided excellent advice, help and backup in dealing with Roberts Radio, 'phoning them on my behalf and persuading them to replace my faulty radio rather than keep repairing it. I now have a new one that works well.

Discovered Fiat Lux today whilst on day visit to Frome - wonderful display of lighting - and returned with a beautiful floor lamp to light up our new home. Just looked at their website and had a virtual tour inside the shop - very clever - it's like google earth, street level, indoors!

Tessa did the flowers for my daughters wedding which included flowers for the church, bouquets, button holes and flowers for the marquee. The flowers were really beautiful, smelt wonderful and many comments were received from the guests on how perfect they were. She completely understood the colours and the style the bride was looking for. The flowers lasted incredibly well and still looked stunning a week after the wedding. If you are looking for a florist for a wedding - then I strongly recommend Tessa !

The little flower company were our florists for our wedding in June this year and were absolutely amazing. Tessa was such a wonderful person to deal with, very warm and helpful. She took our ideas and produced the most beautiful flower arrangements which were better than I could ever have imagined!

As a little bit of a perfectionist I can say it was a happy surprise and great relief to be able to trust Grace from the first meeting we had. Grace was a presence of welcome calm, and we are so pleased she was involved in our day. The flowers were spectacular and exceeded my expectations.

A friendly local shop where you can take your time, get great advice, and have a chat with the staff, who most likely will know you personally if you're a regular. The shop sells a wide range of organic food and produce including fruit and veg, wines, cleaning & personal hygiene products, bread, eggs, chilled goods, and so on. All you could want, really, especially if you have special dietary needs. Highly recommended - if they haven't got what you want, they will happily order it for you.

Convenient Holland and Barrett unit in a shopping centre so great if you have a couple of errands to run and want to hit multiple stations. Nice little shop with a great selection and some good offers. Staff are friendly and helpful and liked that they pointed out offers at the till such as buy one get one half price.

My daughter & I had the most wonderful time at Linda’s workshop last Sunday and I am thrilled with the pendant I created with Linda’s expert help & support. To an absolute novice like me the different techniques seemed slightly daunting to start with (I think of myself as all fingers & thumbs) but Linda was an amazing teacher & was on hand at every stage. The feeling of achievement as the piece of jewellery started to take shape was incredible and to share the day with my daughter Amanda made it even more special. Thank you so much Linda for all your help & advice, I can not recommend your workshop highly enough and I hope to come and learn more from you another day. Gill Carver

I love the jewellery that Linda makes. I was bought a gorgeous gold leaf pair of earrings for Christmas. I liked them so much I asked Linda if she could make an engraved bespoke medallion for my newborn granddaughter- it is perfect! Popped in for some new trail shoes. Well laid out shop abd the staff were immensely helpful and polite. Very highly recommended.

I was looking for some Gortex camouflage jacket and trousers. The guy looked at me to size me up, and gave me at least three various sizes to try stating there were minor tweak in the length of arms etc, and that it was personal how they felt. He certainly knew his stuff. Spot on with the trousers too. Well pleased and it didn't break the bank. Will certainly return if and when I needs more stuff. Great service and website too! Long may he remain in business.

Absolute pleasure dealing with Steph. I contacted her to see if she would be able to re-home a few of my baby Giant African Land Snails, and was met with such excitement and enthusiasm on the phone that it genuinely made my day. Meeting her in person to give them to her the following day was equally lovely. I wish I lived closer to this brilliant shop.

Love Ellenbray, been coming here since I was little. Always a nice selection of toys and games. Part of the shop is also dedicated to stationery.

An average to good Sainsbury's. We went while we were renting a holiday cottage in the area and found a much better selection of products than we were expecting. I don't know if there's a busy time but on a Friday afternoon it definitely had a post-apocalyptic vibe. Eerily quiet, with nothing but the sound of refrigeration and scuffing shoes to break the silence. Would definitely go again.

Slightly improved now Argos is now in Sainsbury's with Argos have longer shopping hours up till 10 pm makes it a lot easier for those who want to shop and get their Argos items the same time.

We got married at the Walled Garden and I cannot recommend it highly enough, everything was so well prepared the whole thing was completely stress free. We had so many people comment on how stunning the venue is, the food was lovely, the staff (particularly our wedding planner, Garry) were patient and professional. We had THE BEST day of our lives, I feel so happy that we chose Orchardleigh. It has everything you need, such a relaxed and pretty setting, and having the cottages right next door made things much easier too. Really cannot rate this place highly enough - thank you very much for making our day so incredible!

We love Orchardleigh Estate, it is situated on the outskirts of Somerset and is the perfect location for a country wedding. We had the privilege of photographing a wedding in the walled garden which is a dream come true for the both of us as it is such a beautiful setting for wedding photographs. Sat in private grounds with easy parking makes this one of our favourite venues in the area. The staff were friendly and very professional and Garry made sure the wedding day ran smoothly, we look forward to returning again soon to photograph another wedding.
