Camping and Caravaning

Camping in Nature at Vallis Veg

Vallis Veg, Egford, Frome BA11 3JQ, UK – 07870 704299

We had such a lovely time. Perfect place to unwind

Simple, green and quiet camp side.

The Bell Inn

High St, Buckland Dinham, Frome BA11 2QT, UK – 01373 462956

The only thing that let the bell down was it was too hot in there. However food and service was great

we used it for camping in their garden and ate dinner there. the food was good. the camping was very cheap which meant services werent great - one porterloo for everyone to share quickly got pretty bad! and the shower had a collection of dirty water in the basin. but at £9 a night it is what it is. the only problem was that a large family/group next to us were letting their kids run riot around our tent (tripping up our guide ropes and shouting and falling over. not at all the fault of the pub but did mean we left in a slightly grumpy and tired mood
